A fantastic stay in a fantastic cottage
- "We booked Dirdale and Corvesgate properties for a weekend break with 3 families. It worked perfectly for us and the setting was great." 12th Sep 2025
- "Dirdale was fantastic!!! We really enjoyed our stay, and will definitely stay again in the future and I've already recommended the property to family and friends. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. The bed was super comfortable and we loved looking out at the stunning views from the sky light. The property is in a fab location for exploring Dorset. We were very lucky with the weather so made use of the lovely garden and the BBQ. The kitchen was very well equipped but a pair of scissors would be a great addition." 3rd Sep 2025
- "Beautiful peaceful surroundings with fantastic dog walking paths. Lovely little enclosed garden with all you need. Well equipped kitchen. Great recommendations for dog friendly dining. Very responsive and helpful." 15–22 Aug 2025
- "We had a lovely stay, so much so we extended our stay an extra night. Dirdale is exactly as described and plenty of space even with a wheelchair user and a baby. Surrounding area is beautiful with lots of lovely places to see." 27 May – 1 Jun 2025
- "We had a lovely holiday. Wey Meadow cottages are in beautiful surroundings in the middle of the hills. The stables and horses are interesting , my dog enjoyed “talking” the horses !!! The cottage itself was really comfortable & well equipped." 28th Sep 2024
- "Really love these cottages and it was our fourth time staying in one of them. The perfect out of town location that is still close enough to go in and out to places!" 6th Sep 2024
- "We had a lovely stay at dirdale. Only a short drive from Weymouth where our family live which was perfect. The living space and garden was perfect for entertaining, so spacious and plenty of seating. I’m sure we will be back soon!" 21–24 Jun 2024
- "We had a lovely stay, the property is really nice, spacious and comfortable. The Wi-Fi was excellent. The facilities in the kitchen were really good. Parking was perfect. Barbecue area was lovely. There is nothing I can say negative about this property and we will definitely be staying there again, Weymouth was only a short drive away. We were really pleased and had a great weekend thank you." 14th Jun 2024
- "A fantastic place. Beautiful and peaceful. The cottage is stunning and has everything you need. Beds are comfortable. Great location to get to all places in Dorset" 7–14 Oct 2023

- "The accommodation is of a very high standard and set in beautiful quiet countryside. Everything was catered for. Very enjoyable stay." 21–24 Jul 2022
- "Everything you could need including dog bowls ready on arrival. The cottage is spacious, modern, clean and really comfortable with everything you could need for a relaxing break. Added touches that made all the difference to our family of four (with two teenagers) were the smart Tv's in each bedroom, reliable wifi, plenty of kitchen equipment, washer dryer and enclosed private garden. Location is perfect, far enough out of Weymouth the be relaxing, with plenty of safe parking, yet close enough to enjoy the town, beaches and surrounding area. Loads to do locally. We would highly recommend The Elm Tree pub in nearby Langton Herring and the Duck farm shop/cafe on the road to Portisham". 15th April 2022
- "Such a fabulous house with everything that you need ready for you. The host was so helpful throughout, the location is perfect with lots to do. We can't wait to visit again!" 24–27 Feb 2022
